Tour overview
This 15-day route links three distinct Indonesian regions: the primary rainforests and highland volcanic lakes of North Sumatra, the rugged dragon-inhabited islands of Komodo, and the deep-rooted spiritual traditions of East Bali. Designed with a comfortable flow between active trekking, cultural encounters, and restful transit days, it provides a well-balanced overview of the archipelago’s natural diversity and local cultures.
North Sumatra: A land of untamed natural wonders. This region takes you from the depths of ancient, biodiverse rainforests teeming with wild orangutans to the cool, refreshing air of the volcanic highlands and the serene waters of a massive volcanic crater lake.
Komodo National Park: A dramatic transition into a rugged, prehistoric world. Here, dry savannah islands rise sharply from turquoise waters, offering iconic panoramic viewpoints, vibrant marine life, unique pink sand beaches, and encounters with the world’s largest lizards.
Bali: A final chapter focused on the deep cultural and spiritual heart of the archipelago. This island provides a tranquil setting to experience living spiritual traditions, timeless ancestral villages, and relaxing coastal hospitality.
